A premium organic Gyokuro tea from the Kagoshima prefecture in Japan. Made exclusively from tender shaded leaves of the Saemidori cultivar that produce an extremely tasty cup with deep umami taste and notes of seaweed and peanuts. Leaves a long and sweet aftertaste

    Japan To produce Gyokuro teas, the plants are shaded for at least 3 weeks prior to harvesting. This results in tender leaves with a high concentration in amino acids which gives them their sweet flavor and intense umami taste.
