Stay home, wash your hands, avoid contact, keep a distance... these are the required measures and the only viable shield against the coronavirus that has come into our lives.
You should however strengthen your body’s defence against Covid-19 in order to better fight the coronavirus, if infected.
Tea can help you, and this has been proven by several studies conducted in recent years.

Researchers from Showa University in Japan discovered that the catechins contained in tea can – when consuming 3-5 cups per day – limit the effects of flu on the body.

The National Academy of Sciences in the US stated in 2003 that the theanine in tea increases the body’s ability to resist the flu virus if one consumes 5 cups of tea per day for at least 2 weeks.

They also pointed out that the antioxidants contained in tea strengthen the body's immunity when tea is consumed over long periods of time.

Lastly, the consumption of a hot brew loosens the mucus, thus helping you get rid of it faster. It also prevents dehydration and fever.

We recommend two teas, one black and one green, as well as two mixes of herbs:

Chai Bio: Black tea with spices, recognised in Ayurvedic medicine, with cinnamon, cloves and ginger. Ginger prevents the production of substances that cause bronchial congestion and contains compounds that function as natural cough suppressants. Prepare it the traditional way, with milk and one teaspoon of honey, which is rich in antioxidants.

Yang Tse: Green tea with cardamom, cinnamon and ginger. The Greek verb cardamono, which means to strengthen, gets its roots from the word cardamom. It is considered to be a tonic for the body. It is used in Ayurvedic medicine. Try it with lemon, which has antiseptic and antibacterial effects, and honey, which is rich in antioxidants.

Winter Health: A mix of herbs that is ideal for the cold days of winter and for colds. The ginger and echinacea will help to boost your immune system. This brew has an extra sweet flavour.

Pure Health: This drink will surely become your favourite ally against sickness and viruses, as it will give your body a boost and strengthen your immune system. A sweet brew with lapacho, orange and vanilla.
