Organic matcha produced from tea leaves cultivated in the rich natural environment of the Uji region, Kyoto, drawing on centuries of tea-growing expertise. Before harvesting, the young shoots are shaded for 3-4 weeks, in order to boost their distinguishing rich flavour and intensify their intense green color. After harvest, carefully selected leaves are dried and sorted to remove veins and stems before being stone-ground into an ultra-fine powder.  Celebrated for its luminous jade-green hue, this matcha offers a luxuriously smooth texture, refined natural sweetness, and elegant umami, finishing clean and mellow on the palate. Its balanced flavour profile makes it ideal for both traditional preparation and contemporary uses.

    Japan To make matcha: 1. Put 1/3 teaspoonful (2 g) of Matcha into a cup. 2. Add a little hot water and stir well. 3. When the mixture becomes frothy, add 200ml cold or hot (75° C) water. You can replace all or part of the water with milk.
