Let's go tea

This summer, make sure to always carry a thermos with you, on your travels, to the beach, or even in the car, so your favourite iced tea can accompany you everywhere.

Here’s why bringing a thermos along is a great idea:

• Temperature retention: A thermos keeps your tea refreshingly cool. Remember to chill your thermos with cold water before filling it to ensure your drink stays at the right temperature.

• Practicality: A thermos is easy to carry and allows you to drink at your own pace without worrying about your tea’s temperature.

• Eco-friendly: By using a thermos, you reduce single-use plastic bottle consumption, which is better for the environment.

• Economical and healthy: No need to buy sweetened, preservative-filled bottled teas when you have your own thermos filled with freshly brewed homemade tea.

This summer, choose the tearoute thermos that suits you best and prepare as much iced tea as you like.Shape

1. For a small amount and immediate consumption, we recommend the Bottle Explorer 300ml, a double-walled glass bottle with a removable infuser and bamboo lid.

Preparation: Place two teaspoons tea into the infuser, fill with hot or cold water, and follow the steeping instructions we provide below.

2. For individual use, choose the On-the-Go Cup 380ml, a double-walled stainless-steel cup designed to keep your tea at the ideal temperature. It features a practical lid with a sipping opening, perfect for enjoying your tea wherever you are.

Preparation: Prepare your tea by adding 2 1/2 teaspoons into a large paper filter, fill your mug with cold or hot water, and let steep according to the instructions provided below.

3. To keep your tea hot or cold for hours, choose the Thermos Traveller 400ml, a stainless-steel thermos with removable infuser and bamboo outer wall. A practical and eco-friendly option.

Preparation: See instructions for the Bottle Explorer above, using a slightly larger amount of tea leaves.

4. To easily incorporate Matcha into your daily summer routine, choose our stainless-steel Matcha On-the-Go 500ml thermos.

Preparation:

Step 1: Add 5g or 3 scoops of Matcha into the thermos.
Step 2: Pour in 50ml of water at 75ºC, close the thermos and shake well, just like a shaker.
Step 3: Top off with 400ml of cold water or milk and ice cubes.
Your Matcha thermos is ready for your next outing!

How to Prepare Iced Tea for your thermos of choice:

If you want to brew iced tea using hot water and then cool it down with ice, simply follow the brewing instructions for each tea type and adjust the quantities based on your thermos size.

However, for better flavour and a more refreshing experience, we recommend cold brewing your tea.

Green tea: steep for 30 minutes to 2 hours
Black, oolong, and white teas: steep for 45 minutes to 4 hours
Fruits and herbal teas: steep for 1 to 3 hours

Once steeping is done, remove the filter with the tea leaves, add ice and any extras you like, and you're ready to head out with your thermos!
