A black tea with a long history from Fujian Province in China. Dark, twisted leaves have scattered golden tips as highlights, yielding a velvety, golden-red cup that gives off aromas of sweet potato, caramel, baked fruit and chocolate. A pleasant tea, with a rich aroma and lasting finish.

China Legend has it that the monks who first made this tea had trained monkeys to pick the tea leaves from the remote slopes. It is this practice that gave the tea the name Jin Hou, which means ‘Golden Monkey’.
