Beau-tea

This newsletter will lead you to discover the alternative, parallel benefits of tea so that you can shine inside and out, and it will share with you beauty recipes to turn the clock back.

Tea and Hydration

A common myth is that tea and drinks containing caffeine or theine should be consumed in moderation because the diuretic effects of theine cause dehydration. However, past and recent research proves that the moderate and systematic consumption of caffeinated drinks such as tea does not have a negative effect on hydration. On the contrary, it helps – just as much as water does – to cover the daily amount of fluids required in order to stay hydrated. So drink away without hesitation!

Tea and your skin

Rich in polyphenols, such as valuable epigallocatechin-3-gallate, and antioxidants, tea – and especially white and green tea – is a remarkable, natural source of beauty for flawless skin, since it delays skin ageing, prevents fine lines and wrinkles, gets rid of puffiness under the eyes, soothes irritated or burnt skin and offers an even tone and glow.
In order to achieve all this, take the leaves that were used to prepare your tea and either apply the paper tea bag to your skin in circular movements, or apply the actual leaves to your whole face for a few minutes and enjoy a quick beauty and firming mask.
You can even use the tea liquor itself by applying it to your skin with a piece of cotton wool or by pouring it into a small spray bottle – once it is cold – and spraying it onto your skin for instant rejuvenation.
