Green tea from China’s Fujian Province, embellished and flavoured with jasmine blossoms. The sweetness of jasmine is combined with lemony notes, while an underlying aroma of roasted tea leaves lends a more earthy aspect to the tea. Equally enjoyable hot or cold.
Jasmine blossoms have been used to give tea fragrance since the 5th century AD. However, jasmine tea reached its zenith during the Qing dynasty, when it was also exported in large quantities to Europe.
