Long and tightly woven tea leaves from the awarded Shawlands tea estate in Uva. A bronze-tinted brew that develops a strong aromatic bouquet which combines woody notes and mountain freshness with a sea breeze and citrus fruit. A liquor with a sweet, mild and invigorating character.
At the end of every summer, the hot, dry winds that blow in Sri Lanka’s Uva region force the tips of the tea plants to close in order to protect themselves and maintain their moisture. The teas produced directly after stand out for their excellent quality, thanks to the concentration of flavours and aromas that the winds have brought about.
